The Job :

  • Coordinate daily merchandising activities including new product development and supplier source;
  • Assist in handling merchandising information to the sales and marketing team;
  • Work closely with factories to process and follow up orders and collaborate with suppliers/vendors to maintain high quality of products;
  • Explore with new/potential vendors for new and existing products;
  • Collaborate with in-house Product and Graphic Designer for product development needs;
  • Research on coming Market trends & innovative items;
  • Handle ad-hoc projects as assigned. 

The Person :

  • Degree holder in Business Studies or equivalent;
  • 2-3 years’ work experience in merchandising, and preferably in gifts and premiums items or toys plush will be an advantage;
  • Familiar with the USA and EU testing standard;
  • Strong market sense and understand marketing trends and customer needs;
  • Good communication skills, mature and tactful in negotiation skills;
  • Well organized, proactive and be able to work under pressure;
  • Good command of both written and spoken in English and Chinese;
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Chinese word processing;
  • Travel to China is required if necessary;
  • Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Merchandising Executive.
